Chipvac 400
The Chipvac 400 chip vacuum cleaner from the Oil & Chips range combines DU-PUY’s decades of experience in mechanical engineering with unique and innovative elements from our continuous research and development work in one machine.
This Chipvac 400 chip and residue suction bucket has a large capacity for collecting solids and liquids with the option of adding a metal separation grid.
Possibility of 50° tilting by forklift with a simple and effective patented system.
The vacuum cleaner can be equipped with two different powerful blowers, 7.5 and 12.5 kW, which enable it to collect large amounts of chips in a very short time. The new design allows the chip vacuum to be moved very easily along with its turbine, either on wheels or with a forklift. Before tipping the bucket, the turbine can be easily detached thanks to its separate holder.
The vacuum cleaner is mounted on a sturdy powder-coated steel frame, equipped with non-marking swivel wheels and a parking brake.
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a powerful side channel blower which develops a high flow rate and vacuum and is suitable for continuous operation. The electric motor is directly coupled to the fan body and requires no maintenance. The air outlet is directed upwards, so as not to disturb the operator or raise dust into the environment. The suction unit is controlled by a low voltage electrical panel housed in the easily accessible rear bonnet. The panel and motor are protected according to the IP65 standard.
The suction unit is equipped with a vacuum stop valve as standard. In case of suction with the inlet completely closed, the valve ensures that the turbine is cooled by the inlet of ambient air.
Inside the steel filter chamber is the Cat.L polyester pocket filter, which protects the extraction unit, ensures high dust retention and guarantees the purity of the exhaust air, thanks to a large surface area (3 m2) and high filtration efficiency (3 microns). A manual cleaning system, consisting of a filter shaker that moves vertically, allows the operator to clean the filter effortlessly and at any time, prolonging the life of the filter and preventing it from becoming saturated and reducing suction performance. The suction system with a Ø80 inlet under the filter allows the simultaneous suction of dust, solids and liquids (within the capacity of the container), without having to replace or remove the filter.
The aspirated material is deposited in a large capacity tipping container. The use of a forklift simplifies emptying the vacuumed material directly into the waste containers. The inclination of the CHIPVAC 400 suction bucket at 50° allows you to easily unload even the most difficult materials.
A perforated grid can be inserted to separate the chips, leaving them at the top of the bucket, while the liquids settle at the bottom of the container.
The bucket is equipped with a 2″ ball valve for emptying the sucked liquids. A visual level indicator allows you to check the filling of the bucket during the liquid suction operation.
